Everyone is invited to the C/SIS Adult Faith Formation Winter Retreat, Dec. 9-10 at King’s House Retreat Center in Belleville,Ill. Our annual spiritual retreat includes worship, fellowship and a time of learning. We will better understand how we live out the doctrine of justification as we read and reflect on Lutheran hymns and confessions. The theme for the retreat is “The Doctrine of Justification: A Trinitarian Approach – Proclaiming Jesus Christ in Today’s World.” Our guest presenter will be the Rev. Winston Persaud, professions of systematic theology at Wartburg Theological Seminary and director of the Center for Global Theologies.
